Online catalogue / online brochure

This feature is similar to the ecommerce feature.  The customer visits the site and browses the various products and services.  However the customer does not actually purchase the product or service on the website.  The customer visits the physical shop or places an order telephonically.  This normally occurs when the customer wishes to view the physical product or if the customer needs to discuss various options and customisations before ordering.

Content Management System (CMS):

A CMS feature allows the various pages on a website to be edited quickly and easily.  For example a site may have a web page that describes a company's history.  The CMS system allows the 'history' page to be edited by the client without any technical knowledge. Johnston Web Solutions uses a powerful content management system called Drupal.

Picture gallery / Photo gallery:

This feature facilitates the uploading and management of photos and videos on a website. 

Blogs:

Blog is short for web log.  A blog can be seen as an online journal where the author discusses various topics.  Readers of the blog can then post their own comments.
